Diner’s Agenda: Won’t You Be My Neighbor?

Diner’s Agenda can’t decide whether to buy the Anthony Bourdain or the Big Papi tee from Neighborhoodies.

Thursday, December 6
•We have something of a love/hate relationship with Beacon Hill. On the one hand, so pretty! On the other, we could never afford to live there and thus, it makes us bitter. Generally, however, the love side wins out, which is how we regularly end up at events like the 6pm Beacon Hill Holiday Stroll. There will be free refreshments at local stores, a tree lighting at 7:15, and Victorian carollers. You know you love it. [Beacon Hill Online]
•Despite the fact that Vlora opened in September, the owners are justnow getting around to hosting a grand opening. The event is taking place under the auspices of the Boston Event Guide, so in order to attend, you need to take advantage of their free membership. The opening itself costs ten bucks, but there will be a wide variety of hors d’oeuvres and drinks available. Tickets may be reserved online. [Boston Event Guide]
•Davis Square is the place to be on Thursday as it plays home to Midnight Madness. Several stores and restaurants will be staying open until 12am and Taza Chocolates will be offering free samples at Dave’s Fresh Pasta. Really, you can’t afford not to go. [Upcoming]
