So this week, Meredith Brody took SF Weekly readers to Tinderbox, where the Guardian’s Paul Reidinger ate last week. She spent more time talking about the restaurant’s town-gown relations and the wait for the table than she did the actual food, which was fine because the restaurant’s neighborhood friction (on which we could find scant web copy) is interesting and Reidinger and the Chron’s Tara Duggan already covered the food. Over at the Guardian, L.E. Leone took the train to Ohio to see the rest of the Leone clan in the wake of his grandmother’s death. Still very little about local food, but he’s back now, so we have high hopes for next week. [Cheap Eats]
Also, Reidinger seems to have enjoyed his evening at Bodhi, but had more interesting things to say about Bistro Burger. Turns out he likes Jack-in-the-Box curly fries. Who knew? [Without Reservations]
And while it isn’t exactly a local weekly, the Onion has a hilarious article about a man who likes tea. [The Onion]
