Tasting Menu At Snackbar

Thanks to Philadining, we learned about what might be one of the best food specials in the city: A monthly tasting menu at Center City’s Snackbar that features guest chefs like Studiokitchen’s Shola Olunloyo and Restaurant M’s David Katz. The menu this time around featured goos like:

Carrot ginger soup with coconut froth and peanut praline
Scallop with “chocucroute” of fennel and apple with yuzu-miso glaze
Skate wing torchon with nicoise flavors
Kobe beef culotte with oxtail gyoza and parsnips and chanterelles
Chalancay epiosses with fennel mostarda, pumpernickle and shitake “soil”
Apple in forms with black sesame streusel and white chocolate
Caju-lime marshmallow with fried chocolate
