Zagat Makes A Boo Boo

Our distinguished competition over at Zagat are currently rolling out their 2008 guides. Now, MenuPages is free to use… So we think we’re a bit ahead in that department (Zagat charges for their website). But we thought a typo they made concerning Vanity Fair editor/NYC restaurant owner Graydon Carter was kind of funny:


Hugely hyped “celeb-centric” Waverly Inn earned a not-too-shabby score of 18 for food. But give Zagat a big fat ‘F’ for spell-checking. Or lack thereof. Don’t know who “Grayson Carter” is, but if media titan Graydon Carter were publishing this guide, then heads would roll in the copy-editing department.
