Paramount Room, the new River West gastropub at 415 N Milwaukee, is having another grand opening, this time to benefit the Jane Addams Hull House Association. It’s free (although it’s suggested that you donate $20 to the Association, and we agree), and you’ll get to sample some of their tasty food, beer, and “select” cocktails from 6pm to 8pm tonight. It’s a good cause and the place has been getting some decent buzz, so it might be worth checking out on your way to something else.
And we give our endorsement even though they didn’t send us a menu like they promised. Nobody follows through anymore! What happened to the legendary American worth ethic!
