Fairmount is gearing up for everyone’s favorite Francophile event, Philly Bastlile Day. From 2:30-5pm, the Bastille Day Fest is taking place at Eastern State Penitentary, followed by a reenactment of the Storming of the Bastille and night tours of Eastern State. Afterwards, plenty of Art Museum/Fairmount-area restaurants are offering special Bastille Day menus: Check out the London Grill, Aspen, Jack’s Firehouse and Rembrandt’s just to name a few.
