With Tuesday being National Hunger Awareness Day, there are a plethora of related events around the Bay, but none is bigger than tomorrow’s benefit at Farallon, sponsored by Epicurious:
Tanya Steel, editor-in-chief of Epicurious.com, and chefs Mark Franz, Jan Birnbaum, and Parke Ulrich invite you to San Francisco’s Farallon for a dinner to benefit America’s Second Harvest. The evening’s special menu will feature dishes personally created by each chef, including diver scallop carpaccio, crispy maple pork belly, and roasted strawberry turnovers.
Proceeds will go to America’s Second Harvest. Tickets cost $100 and cover both cocktails and dinner. The festivities kick off at 6:30 and dinner is served at 7:15. Purchase tickets here.
