Well This Isn’t Going To Be A Productive Week

It’s San Francisco Cocktail Week 2007!

The bars and bartenders of The City By The Bay have brought together the past and future of local alcoholic concoctions in a week-long celebration. For the next seven days, participating bars and restaurants around the city will offer two super-special limited cocktails: “one classic recipe and one original cocktail created by that bar’s ‘Cocktail Champion.’” For example, Citizen Cake will showcase a Mint Julep as well as something called a Ring of Fire; Range has a Negroni and a “Little Italy.” The full list of participants and their special cocktails are available here.

The event will be capped off next Monday (May 21st) with a Gala Closing Cocktail Party at Absinthe, where famous bartender/writer Gary Regan will be the featured bartender. Tickets are $45 a pop. See the website for more details.
