This week saw the christening of other MP blogs as well. So, since you canceled your weekend kayaking trip, peruse the rest of the Menuniverse.
• MP: Boston celebrated Red Sox Opening Day by interviewing a real Bostonian (who seems to enjoy big cups of, um, juice) about dining in Beantown. Later in the week, challah french toast destinations were found amidst some nifty little haiku summaries. We would have preferred sonnets in iambic pentameter, but whatever.
• MP: Chicago indulged in some strudel aesthetics, was on IACP beat like no other and had fun with rhymes while rounding out the weekend events in the Windy City.
• And finally, MP: Philly elucidated the art of snagging a reservation at Vetri, took a peek at pizza from the Land Down Under and got nervous about the potential extinction of Tastykake coconut juniors.
