Cambridge Chef Honored By Food & Wine Magazine

Huge congratulations are in order for chef Gabriel Bremer of Salts who has been honored as one of the Best New Chefs of 2007 by Food & Wine Magazine. Along with the other winners, Bremer will be feted in New York tonight and appear in a feature in the magazine’s July issue. He will also participate in a tasting dinner at the Food & Wine Magazine Classic in Aspen in June, an event to which Food & Wine should feel totally free to invite us. Bremer’s victory makes this the fourth year in a row that a Hub chef has been so honored and Bremer will now join notable former Boston-area Best New Chefs such as Todd English (Olives, 1995), Marc Orfaly (Pigalle, 2004), Tony Maws (Craigie Street Bistrot, 2005) and Pino Maffeo (Restaurant L, 2006).
