If it’s wrong to talk about wine at 9:00 in the morning, we don’t want to be right. Gridskipper has a great piece up about the best wine stores in the Hub. Some of our very favorite shops (including JP’s Blanchards and the South End’s Wine Emporium, but we’d like to make our own suggestion: Solera Wine in Roslindale Square. The staff is friendly, the selection is great, and, best of all, the prices are quite reasonable. Grab a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, a round of Camembert from Boston Cheese Cellar and a crusty loaf from Fornax Bakery, and walk over to the Arboretum. Instant picnic! Just don’t forget the opaque cups.
