Philly’s Best Burritos

The crucial question of just who makes Philadelphia’s best burrito was recently discussed over at Chowhound. Most posters are looking for a burrito similar to that of Boston’s Anna’s Taqueria, which seems simply puzzling. To us, the ultimate in burrito high-life, the iconic Proust’s madeline of the burrito world, if you will, can only be found at San Francisco’s Taqueria Cancun. Either way, there are a few contenders. Posters recommend Washington Square’s El Fuego, the MexiCali cart near Drexel University, the 11th Street branch of Santa Fe Burrito and East Falls sit-down joint Johnny Manana’s, among others.
