Michael Pollan, author of The Omnivore’s Dilemma, just did an interview with Leite’s Culinaria. It’s an interesting talk that touches on everything from Pollan’s feelings on Whole Foods to organic produce at Wal-Mart and even boar hunting. Pollan has been a favorite as of late among the food intellectual set. Despite his book’s overbearing emphasis on the eating habits of the upper-middle class at times, it’s still a damn fine read and we strongly recommed this interview. If for nothing else, give it a read for his feeling on “outstanding artichokes”.
