This year’s nominees for the James Beard Foundation Awards have been announced. Philly did well for itself, all things considered: Jose Garces (Tinto, Amada) was nominated for best Mid-Atlantic chef and the New York incarnations of Buddakan and Morimoto are in the running for Outstanding Restaurant Design and Outstanding Restaurant Graphics, respectively.
