About six weeks after its move south to the old Port Authority at 111 Eighth Avenue, Google’s New York office finally has a cafeteria. (Don’t worry, sympathetic searchers, the staffers’ free lunch had been catered before this week.)

So what do you serve hungry programmers? Our mole slipped us an excerpt from Wednesday’s inaugural menu.

Zucchini Pasta Marinara
Soft Tacos With Fresh Tomato Salsa
Beetroot-Marinated Tofu With Chile Scallion Glaze
Tempeh, White Beans, Tomato, Basil

Roast Butternut Squash With Cinnamon and Sage
Roast Eggplant
Roast Red Peppers
Grilled Chicken With Roast Apples and Curried Cashews

Chelsea Grill
Grilled Hanger Steak
Sauce Bordelaise
Pomme Frites
Sautéed Spinach, Garlic, Shallots, and Extra-Virgin Olive Oil

(French theme)
Cassoulet, Toulouse Style
Beef Bourguignon
Pommes Gratinee

(Indian theme)
Braised Mangalore Salmon in Coconut Milk
Curried Chicken Legs With Potatoes and Tomatoes
Fried Chickpea Salad
Curried Organic Fingerling Potatoes

Earth and Water
Wild Striped Bass en Papillote

This wasn’t just a fancy opener and then back to the burgers, either. Today our sated friend had London broil with grilled asparagus and an It’s It ice cream sandwich imported from the West Coast.
