Room Service? Get Me Geoffrey Zakarian! There was never any doubt the Water Club, the $800 million hotel-casino being put up by the Borgata in Atlantic City, was going to have a high-end food pedigree. The Borgata’s a class act! But they did especially well in hiring Geoffrey Zakarian of Town and Country. We’ve had a close look at his menu, and it’s a cut above the usual institutional food: Room-service entrées include filet of bison, braised lamb shank with basmati rice and pomegranate (a nod to Zakarian’s Armenian heritage), and, for when you really don’t want to leave the room, a rib-eye center-cut dry-aged beef chop on the bone with potato purée and field mushrooms. Even the breakfast menu’s four options are hipper than you would expect, among them “The Manhattan” (coffee, bagel, New York Times); the “Long Night” (hanger steak and eggs, grilled tomato, Emergen-C vitamin powder, coffee, water), and, inevitably, “Still Awake From Yesterday” (Philly cheesesteak, French fries, Coca-Cola.) There are 800 other things on Zakarian’s menu, but we somehow doubt we could stay long enough to try them out. In fact, it will be a miracle if we can afford to stay there at all.

Dave Chappelle Tiffs With the Wife at Coffee Shop, ‘Entourage’-ers This week’s juiciest bit of celeb-sighting gossip was, of course, the Post’s report that after a performer dumped a drink on Demi and Ashton, Box honcho Simon Hammerstein sent an e-mail to his partner and a GM saying, “I can’t stand those two” — apparently because they’re “so far up their own arses” and “don’t spend anything” — “and I applaud whoever spilt a drink on them.” We’re thinking Kid Rock got kinder treatment when he went to Southern Hospitality, or there would’ve been a Tommy Lee–style throwdown.

Tom and Gisele Lock Lips at Nobu, ‘Full House’ Cast and the B-52sEarlier this week we linked to a Daily News item claiming Padma Lakshmi rudely refused complimentary dishes from Fiamma’s chef. A commenter wrote, “I was at Fiamma the night Padma was dining there and it absolutely did NOT go down that way. When the dishes arrived at the table, she thanked them profusely and apologized for being too full to eat any of them!” Whatever happened, Padma was just one of many celebs to chow down (or at least show up) at local restaurants this week, and here’s our gossip-column compendium of just who went where.

Ben Stiller Crashes a Party at Fiamma, Penélope Cruz Makes Out at Every Friday a notable New Yorker tells us where they’ve been eating, but where are the rest of them chowing down? Starting this week we’ll sort through the gossip columns à la Ils Vont (RIP) to tell you who’s been seen where (casual sightings only — boring galas, vodka launches, and pluggy appearances don’t count). We’ll eventually compile a ranking of restaurants most often visited by celebs. Not that you care about that sort of thing! Oh, but if you do, won’t you please leave your own sightings in the comments?

Weird Deliveries Demanded by Club VIPs Because we’ve only visited Room Service to use the loo, we’ve never taken advantage of the concierge service that allows clubbers who give 24-hours’ notice to get anything they want delivered to their curtained VIP cubicles. Still, we couldn’t help but wonder what exactly the rich and lame-ous were ordering. As a list of every single item requested over the course of two weeks reveals, it ain’t the swordfish at Le Bernardin. More like gummy bears, K-Y Jelly, and the Paris Hilton sex tape. So which one of these items did Mary-Kate Olsen order? We’ll spill, after the list …
  15. Restroom Report
Inside Room Service’s VIPee At her most recent record-release party, Janet Jackson reportedly commandeered the VIPee at the much-ballyhooed restaurant-club Room Service. We knew we had to investigate. At the grand opening last night, the curtained cabanas that come with a key to the private washroom were reserved for the likes of Cuba Gooding Jr. and Adrian Grenier, but when no one was looking, we crashed the special commode.
