Yves, From the Owners of Smith & Mills and Navy, Is Tribeca’s Newest Date Spot

Matt Abramcyk and Akiva Elstein, the proprietors of both Navy and Smith & Mills, are masters at creating restaurants with good vibes. The kinds of places that are foolproof date spots: cool, sleek, welcoming — and never look like they’re trying too hard. With Yves, their brand-new restaurant on Greenwich Street that’s open all day and night, they’ve abandoned their signature industrial aesthetic in favor of a design that’s lighter and softer, and the food follows suit. Chef Daniel Berg’s simple, easy menu includes chicken meatballs, potato gnocchi, roast chicken, and veal schnitzel. It’s the kind of comfort food you can eat every day. Take a look:
