Brooklyn’s Pizza Gods Broke Bread Together

This is like the pizza equivalent of that time St. Vincent made an album with David Byrne. Last night, the Pizza-father himself Dom DeMarco of Di Fara, Brooklyn’s most classic pizzeria, apparently ate dinner at Lucali, Brooklyn’s coolest, and some would argue best, pizzeria. Lucali’s Mark Iacono ‘grammed a black-and-white of himself talking with DeMarco at the table. It’s not clear what they were talking about, though likely topics include not messing with Italian food, hooligans who put pineapple on pizza, and the nice bottle of amaro they seem to have cracked open. The only person missing from this dough-related Mount Rushmore? Pizza the Hutt, of course.

This post has been updated to show that Paul Giannone was not at Lucali with his fellow pizza men.
