Here’s How Twitter Reacted to Mario Batali’s Cinnamon-Roll ‘Apology’ Newsletter

Mario Batali issued an apology, of sorts, to the sexual-harassment accusations brought against him with a breathtakingly tone-deaf newsletter. After several paragraphs devoted to the “many mistakes” he’s made and the work that he will do to “regain your respect and trust,” the email concluded with a postscript, for Pizza Dough Cinnamon Rolls.

Over the last few days, the responses have piled up — and they are exactly as harsh as you’d expect.

Former New Yorker and Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown, meanwhile, thinks Batali’s big mistake was actually which recipe he included. “How about pigs in a blanket, Mario?” she suggested to CNN:
