Here Are the Runners-up for the 2017 ‘World’s 50 Best Restaurants’ List

It’s a new year, which means it’s time for another “World’s 50 Best Restaurants” list that’s actually 100 restaurants long. Today, the organizers of the always-controversial list revealed their runners-up, numbered 51 through 100, in anticipation of the full lineup’s unveiling on April 5. New York is represented this year by Momofuku Ko, the highest ranked American restaurant so far; Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare; and Estela, which returns to the long list after popping up in last year’s top 50. Notable restaurants making their debut include Ana Roš’ Hiša Franko in Slovenia, Dominique Crenn’s Atelier Crenn out of San Francisco, and Min-goo Kang’s Mingles from South Korea.
