It’s a new year, which means it’s time for another “World’s 50 Best Restaurants” list that’s actually 100 restaurants long. Today, the organizers of the always-controversial list revealed their runners-up, numbered 51 through 100, in anticipation of the full lineup’s unveiling on April 5. New York is represented this year by Momofuku Ko, the highest ranked American restaurant so far; Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare; and Estela, which returns to the long list after popping up in last year’s top 50.
