Ina Garten and Chrissy Teigen Authored the Best-selling Cookbooks of 2016

A very successful coupling.

According to Publisher’s Weekly and Nielsen BookScan (which tracks about 80 percent of print sales), Ina Garten’s Cooking for Jeffrey — an ode to her husband of 48 years — dominated cookbook sales in 2016, selling over 400,000 copies. Chrissy Teigen’s Cravings came in second, followed by Thug Kitchen. While it’s clear that big-name celebrities lead to sales, it’s also nice to see J. Kenji López-Alt’s The Food Lab come in at No. 6 — proving that there’s a market for highly technical, comprehensive cookbooks. Here’s the complete list:

1. Cooking for Jeffrey by Ina Garten
2. Cravings by Chrissy Teigen
3. Thug Kitchen
4. The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Dinnertime by Ree Drummond
5. Air Fry Everything by Meredith Laurence
6. The Food Lab by J. Kenji López
7. Skinnytaste Fast and Slow by Gina Homolka
8. The Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker Cookbook by Laurel Randolph
9. Appetites by Anthony Bourdain
10. Inspiralized by Ali Maffucci
