Iconic Pizzeria Di Fara Is Now Delivering

Now you can wait this out on your couch. Photo: Guian Bolisay/CC/Flickr

Di Fara is universally regarded, by pizza nerds and laymen alike, as one of the city’s premiere pizzerias, but getting a pie can be a bit of an odyssey. There’s almost always a wait, which can stretch up to a couple hours, and it’s not easier to get a grab-and-go slice — you’ll end up waiting something like 45 minutes for that, too. In other words, it’s a commitment. Some good news, then, for denizens of southern Brooklyn: Di Fara now delivers pies via Uber Eats, from noon to 5 p.m., in a zone that ranges from Bay Ridge to Ditmas Park. A writer for the Daily Meal who tested out the service got her pizza in less than an hour, and you can order a white pie, square pie, or classic with sausage, mushrooms, and onions. Slices are also available for delivery, but why stop at one?
