Get Ready for Girl Scout Cookie Cereal

Dreams do come true: General Mills is releasing two kinds of Girl Scout Cookie cereal in January, meaning it’s merely a matter of months before cookies are a legitimate form of breakfast. The whole-grain-corn versions will come in Thin Mints (a given) and Caramel Crunch, which is what they’re calling the Samoas flavor. It seems maybe the big reveal caught General Mills off guard — Instagram sweets chronicler @candyhunting discovered the images and dropped them online — so, for now, all the cereal company is saying is that, yes, boxes of these do exist, and they’ll be out soon enough. Tagalong and Trefoil boosters can keep their fingers crossed if they want, but they should keep in mind that everybody’s a winner in a world where cookies are an acceptable part of every meal.
