Jean-Georges Vongerichten is, of course, one of the world’s most celebrated, most accomplished chefs. He operates dozens of restaurants across multiple continents, has won basically every major culinary award imaginable, and holds plenty of Michelin stars. His kitchens, meanwhile, continue to turn out iconic dishes that inspire endless imitators (including, it’s worth noting, the very controversial pea-filled guacamole). He is, in short, a chef who stands atop the restaurant world.
