There’s Now a Restaurant on a Floating Barge in Greenpoint

This Wednesday, New York gains yet another promising seasonal restaurant: Brooklyn Barge, which boasts a restaurant, a bar, and a waterfront activity center — all on a floating barge located at the Greenpoint Terminal Market, at the end of Milton Street. Three friends, all with maritime experience, are behind the project, and they’ve built a kitchen out of a refurbished shipping container. The simple menu includes fish tacos, veggie burgers, “pork fries,” plus beer on tap and rum punch. Take a look:
