Bourdain and Obama Chilled Over Noodles and Beer in Vietnam

President Obama is known for, possibly among other things, his very solid taste in restaurants, but, like other wise gourmands, he knows when he’s a fish out of water. So like any other normal person during a trip to Asia, he hit up noted Vietnam enthusiast Anthony Bourdain, who found time in his busy schedule creating his dream market, producing documentaries, and hanging out with his daughter for the commander-in-chief. The two met up for a casual meal at Hanoi restaurant Bún chả Hương Liên, and their conversation will be featured in an upcoming episode of Parts Unknown. Being a classy dude, Bourdain paid for the $6 meal himself to help cut down on government spending.
