Michael Pollan (a.k.a the man who gave us the mantra "Eat. food. Not too much. Mostly plants.") is arguably the most influential thinker in the food world, thanks to books like the Omnivore's Dilemma and In Defense of Food. Now the author has teamed up with acclaimed documentarian Alex Gibney, of the Oscar-nominated Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room and Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer, for a new four-part Netflix series called Cooked. Debuting on February 19, the show sees Pollan explore the elements of cooking and its role in our lives. Check out the trailer for the show below, which looks very appealing.
