Cherry Bombe’s sixth issue hits newsstands next week, and the theme is “Eat My Words.” Fittingly, Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner grace the cover, and co-founder and editorial director Kerry Diamond’s interview covers what Dunham cooked for Nora Ephron, which cookbooks Konner collects, and how their relationships with food have changed over the years. “I had a really hard phase with food where it was the tidal pull of my life,” Dunham says. “And I really don’t feel that way anymore.”

There are also stories on Dominique Crenn, Bonnie Slotnick, Melissa Clark, Nigella Lawson, and Mission Chinese Food’s Angela Dimayuga, who makes a strong case for bringing back the word fusion. Take a look at a few shots:

"We are fusion," Dimayuga says. "I know it's a word that everyone loved and then turned their backs on, but that's what we truly are."
