It’s not quite as bad as peeing on a Nachos Bell Grande, but this Taco Bell employee sure has people rethinking their visit to his Sandusky, Ohio, store all the same. The circumstances surrounding this less-than-hygienic situation aren’t that clear, but the worker at least kept his hand down there long enough for an alarmed customer to snap a pic with his phone — which naturally is causing an uproar now that he put it on Taco Bell’s Facebook page.
Taco Bell released a statement saying, “This is completely unacceptable and has no place in our restaurants. Our franchisee took immediate action, and has terminated the employee and retraining the entire staff.” The chain assures customers the worker was never in contact with any food, but that didn’t keep the local police chief from asking the obvious question: “Was this just a nervous habit, was it just poor placement of his hand, or was he intentionally trying to contaminate somebody’s food or drink?”
