Three-year-old Louro, the West Village restaurant from David Santos, known for his Portuguese-inflected take on contemporary American cooking is closing — perhaps after one too many themed dinners. Once again, the owners are citing an unmanageable rent hike as the culprit, though Santos says he immediately started looking for a new location. In the meantime, the restaurant is going out with a bang tonight: All drinks will be half off, and it’ll apparently stay open until all the food and alcohol are gone.
