While it’s no surprise that $1 slice joints aren’t on the up-and-up, this lawsuit is particularly dismal: The New York–based 2 Bros. Pizza chain reportedly pays its workers less than minimum wage and no overtime. A class-action lawsuit says staffers often worked for 60 to 70 hours a week, with one employee claiming he made $480 a week ($6.66 per hour) for 72 hours. More than 12 plaintiffs are cited, with more coming forward, and the damages extended beyond $10 million.
