Christina Tosi stopped by Conan last night to make a few recipes from her just-released cookbook, Milk Bar Life. She started by teaching O’Brien how to make a Hershey’s Kiss Roll using readymade Pillsbury dough, which he said “looks like something you pay a surgeon to remove from your spine.” Tosi also made Crackle — a brittle version of Momofuku Milk Bar’s famed Crack Pie.
After obliterating the Crackle sheet with a cleaver and a rolling pin, O’Brien took a break to enjoy a cocktail — Cereal Milk cold brew with “98 percent Kahula.”
