Ivan Orkin ranked among Adam Platt’s Best Chefs for his annual, calorie-packed guide to the year ahead in food. His Ivan Ramen came in at No. 4 on the critic’s 12 Best New Restaurants list, and Platt heartily recommended the Clinton Street ramenya’s Pennsylvania Dutch okonomiyaki and its Ankimo dirty rice in addition to its standout soups. The other critics were more or less in love with the place, and all of this is to say that anyone who was deterred by the long lines will be excited to hear the restaurant has now brought reservations into the fold. Tables are available for up to six people and can be made here.
