This Unpleasant Exchange With a Customer Got a Domino’s Manager Fired

Apparently a manager at the helm of this Saginaw, Michigan, Domino’s cursed out a customer who confronted him over hanging up on her son. The kid reportedly complained after getting a lightly sauced pie instead of one with “white” sauce. Hence this exchange: “Did you come in for your money back? Because I really don’t care about your opinion,” the manager says. Customer: “I want your supervisor’s name and your supervisor’s phone number.” Manager: “My supervisor’s name is ‘Go Fuck Yourself.’” It just got worse from there.

The now-former pizza man says he regrets his choice of words, but it’s too late, and today we’ve got all kinds of headlines like “Domino’s Customer: I Wasn’t Trying to Get ‘Go F**k Yourself’ Manager Fired.” He adds that if people knew his side, “they would not be sympathetic” for the customer. Of course there’s someone on Reddit claiming to be an employee who says the exchange went down after an appetizer of profanities and demands from the customers. “I get that the customer is the boss, but at some point we don’t deserve to be treated like that, especially when we are trying to do the right thing,” the employee writes.
