This New Mind of a Chef Trailer Looks Totally Engrossing

While the Louisville-based chef Edward Lee was the focus of the first half of Mind of a Chef’s third season, the remaining eight episodes of the Anthony Bourdain-narrated PBS show are all about Magnus Nilsson. Here we see the Fäviken chef cutting through aged meat with immense fat caps, foraging for eggs, and contemplating the crystalline structure of lake ice for inspiration. He also apparently makes a stop at the Faroe Islands and sets up an impromptu merguez stand in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. In short, it looks like a lot of fun, but also like it will provide a solid look at one of the most iconoclastic chefs working today.
