That was fast: Starting this week, the recently shuttered drag-and-dinner institution Lucky Cheng’s will come back four nights a week on the second floor of the DL, nightlife entrepreneur Paul Seres’s LES venue. The famed club closed at the beginning of July, less than a month after the death of founder and owner Hayne Suthon. The reboot comes courtesy Suthon’s ex-husband and daughter Josephine, who are currently scouting locations for a new venue between 4,000-5,000 square feet where Lucky Cheng’s will reopen permanently.
