Back in 2010 when KFC unleashed the Double Down, it got points for originality but then squandered them all in the calorie-count department. Fatburger's spartan new "protein-style burger" is right now only available Beverly Hills and clearly gets a zero for originality, but quickly gets mind-boggling with all the add-ons: Beyond the basic meat and cheese, customers are encouraged to customize with bacon, fried eggs, chili, guacamole, and/or one or two more patties. You can also get a gluten-free bun on the side if you're feeling it. [LAT, Related]
