Fans of Team Torrisi who’ve already visited the Ludlow Hotel’s Lobby Bar to sample Thomas Waugh’s excellent drinks will be thrilled to learn that Dirty French, the restaurant side of the F&B; operation, will open in one week. We’ve already had a sneak peek at the frisée aux lardons with giblets and heard all about the table-side oyster service, and now Rich Torrisi has a few tantalizing new details for the Times, including news that the tarte au citron will be a classic rendition save for the fact it’s made with North African preserved lemons. The restaurant is now accepting reservations, at 212-254-3000. [NYT, Related]
