Damon Wise, the chef de cuisine at Andrew Carmellini’s Lafayette, will leave his post in the kitchen after the end of the week. A representative for the restaurant, which opened in April 2013, tells Eater the chef is leaving the city to “pursue a project of his own,” which is something of a trend these days.
