Marcus Samuelsson Plans to Cook Miso-Grilled Sea Bass Atop Times Square Billboard

Perhaps in an attempt to channel his inner David Blaine, Red Rooster chef and owner Marcus Samuelsson will helm a two-week alfresco dinner series from a communal table 25 feet high overlooking Times Square, safely out of Nuts 4 Nuts territory. The stunt is, you may have guessed, sponsored by MasterCard, and it’s unclear if Samuelsson will actually serve his “specialty menu” of miso-grilled sea bass and dumplings in person, but proceeds from each $50 dinner will benefit Stand Up to Cancer, a nonprofit, so go dig your climbing shoes out of the closet.
