Beautique hotel Sixty Soho (formerly 60 Thompson) will replace upscale Thai restaurant Kittichai with a new Italian venture overseen by John McDonald. He’ll take over the rooftop bar and the lobby bar, too. It’ll be a busy year for McDonald: He’s also be opening a steakhouse in the former Veselka Bowery space. [Earlier, Eater NY]
