The formidable four-cheese mazemen at Ivan Ramen, New York critic Adam Platt writes in his newest review, is a “strange, fiendishly addictive Japanese version of spaghetti carbonara.” There’s a lot more to try at the LES ramenya, noodles and otherwise, which is nicely timed to the news that the restaurant starts serving lunch this afternoon. Hours are from 12:00 until 3:30 p.m., every day, and a shrimp-topped chili mazemen is in the lineup. [Ivan Orkin/Twitter via Eater NY, Related]
