Maybe it’s just coincidence, but Wicked Good Cupcakes announced this morning that Marcus Lemonis, the CNBC host who hopes to resuscitate Crumbs, has also partnered with its company, which ships cute little cupcakes in trademark jars and already counts Lemonis’s CNBC colleague Kevin O’Leary as an investor. The partnership will expand Wicked Good’s current product line to “cheesecakes in jars,” “pies in jars,” “brownies in jars,” and gluten-free versions of all these things, so essentially these desserts are being taken off the streets only to be to be put through the mail, and we’re all doomed.
