Public’s Vegetable Menu; Brunch at Chicane

• This month, Public is offering a special, multi-course “Veggie Madness” menu. For $70, six courses include chilled tomato gazpacho and charred carrots with cauliflower “couscous.” Full menu and reservations here. [Grub Street]

• On June 9, Seersucker continues its guest series with chef and soon-to-be cookbook author Deuki Hong, who, along with chef-owner Robert Newton, will cook a Korean feast. The $50, four-course meal will include banchan, a Korean-style crab boil, rice and barley salad, and bossam. Reservations here. [Grub Street]

• On Saturday, June 7, Chicane will launch its new brunch prix fixe menu. The $28 cost includes coffee or tea, a cocktail, one side, and a sweet or appetizer, like octopus a la plancha. Reservations here. [Grub Street]

Daishichi Sake Brewery and EN Japanese Brasserie will host a kimoto sake night on June 19 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The seven-course menu will include award-winning sake pairings. Tickets cost $77 and are available here. [Grub Street]
