P.F. Chang’s says its management is “working with authorities to learn more” about a possible data breach that may have compromised thousands of customers’ credit cards. The exploit was uncovered by security blogger Brian Krebs, who found a batch of cards for sale on Rescator, an underground card store previously connected to cyberattacks at Target, Neiman Marcus, and Sally Beauty Supply. Bank reps later told him the cards had been used at P.F. Chang’s locations between March and May. A spokesperson for the chain says it is working with the authorities. [Reuters, KrebsOnSecurity]
