The vendor says its first food truck, which will sell hot dogs, juice, and fried Twinkies, hits city streets June 23. Owners Jason Witkes and Wayne Rosenbaum have their minds set on the midtown food-truck circuit, which is strategically located between the chain’s brick-and-mortar spots on the Upper East Side and down on St. Marks Place. The hot-dog truck is also, Rosenbaum tells the Daily News, “a way to have a great location without paying sky-rocket rents.” The Papaya King truck has more or less as full a menu as its counterparts and is dressed in all yellow, as expected. It starts tweeting its most relished locations every day starting Monday. [NYDN]
