Copycat restaurants can’t leave the venerable Katz’s Deli alone. The 125-year old Lower East Side institution resolved a trademark infringement lawsuit earlier this year, and, now, it’s moving to sue Katz’s Delicatessen of Deerfield Beach, Florida, an impostor whose website boasts, “Finally the unmistakable New York Kosher Deli is right around the corner.” Proprietor Jake Dell sent a cease-and-desist to the restaurant months ago and received no response, so now the family owned business will file an infringement lawsuit.
