Charles Masson’s Baccarat Hotel Project Will Be Very Floral

We learned yesterday that Charles Masson, formerly of La Grenouille, is helming the food and drink operations at the forthcoming Baccarat Hotel with chef Shea Gallante, formerly of Cru, and here are some more details: In addition to the dining room, bar, and “grand salon,” the space will have a 60-foot bar and an outdoor terrace space. Masson was known for crafting lavish floral arrangements at La Grenouille, a tradition that will continue at the new venue, and while it doesn’t open until late 2014, Masson has put together a window display to commemorate the partnership.
