The venerated front-of-house manager Charles Masson, who was ousted from his position at old-school French restaurant La Grenouille in March after 40 years on the job, is now at the helm of a new 85-seat restaurant and lounge headed to the Baccarat Hotel. Shea Gallante of Cru will be the chef at the project, which is scheduled to open in December. [NYT, Related]
