Andrew Carmellini, Luke Ostrom, and Josh Pickard Will Open in the Plein Sud Space

Eater NY reports that, as rumored previously, the powerhouse restaurateur trio behind the Dutch and just-opened Bar Primi will next take on a project in the Smyth at West Broadway in the Financial District, most likely in the corner space that was last home to Plein Sud. (The southern-France-styled brasserie opened with Daniel veteran Ed Cotton in the kitchen in the spring of 2010 and quietly closed last summer.) There's no word from Team Carmellini what kind of food the new place might serve, but the blog reports it's been hearing murmurs about a farm-to-table menu. [Eater NY, Related]
